COUGAR CREEK ELEMENTARY PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL

 GENERAL MINUTES OF THE MEETING 

Location: School Multipurpose Room DATE: January 9th 2023

 Time: 1:00 pm

1. Welcome and call to order: Members in Attendance: Tamela Davison Manery (Principal), Harneet Kosa (PAC President) Ramandeep Gill (PAC Vice-President) Amandeep Kaur Bakshi (PAC Secretary) Sukhwinder Kaur (PAC Hot Lunch Co-Ordinator) Saima Shahzadi (PAC Treasurer) 

2. Adoption of Agenda: Fund raising activity discussion, Budget distribution discussion and sorting documents from previous years. 

3. Adoption of Minutes: As the last successful meeting held on 29th November 2022, for the execution of hot lunch successful done on 16th December 2022. Today’s meeting discusses Treat Day, Funds and Documents. 

4. Reports: 

a. President Report: i. Planned for treat day (Samosa treat) on 20th January 2023 via Munch n lunch and cash collection. ii. Movie Night (Sing 2) planning for 27th January 2023. iii. Finalized with Samosa vender to deliver individual packing to school on 20th January. iv. PAC members meeting with parents on 25th January 2023 at 12:30pm 

b. Principal’s Report: i. Go ahead shared for treat day and movie screening on 20th and 31st January respectively. ii. Suggested for Gagaball setup and Basket ball hoop on the wall for little sportspersons in school. 

c. Treasurer’s Report: PAC has General Account and Casino Account, Closing Balance As on 31st December, 2022 i. PAC Account: CAD $ 8294.47 ii. Casino Account: CAD $ 11937.16 

5. New Business: i. Cloth Donation drive. ii. Magic Show and Painting session are in planning for fund raising.
