diwali-2.jpg   Diwali Assembly – we will be having a Diwali Assembly on Monday October 24th from 10:45 – 11:30 – parents and families are welcome to come.  Diwali is a “festival of lights” that celebrates the triumph of light over dark and good over evil, and the blessings of victory, freedom, and enlightenment. On the night of Diwali, celebrants light dozens of candles and clay lamps (called diyas), placing them throughout their homes and in the streets to light up the dark night.

We are aware of the concern from community members about the crosswalk that crosses across 122 street. We encourage all our families to take the time to fill out the "Report a Problem" form on the surrey.ca website, and request 'Traffic Calming' for that area close to our school.

If there are specific problems with dangerous driving, please phone the Surrey Non-Emergency Line to contact RCMP at 604-599-0502 or call 911 if it is an emergency. https://www.surrey.ca/services-payments/report-a-problem-or-submit-a-request
