Student Registration

Student Registration is done online at:  https://www.surreyschools.ca/ 

Click on the “Register Today” area that is on the top purple bar. 

There is a section at the top titled “Surrey Student Registration” and the option to click on the school year you are registering for. 

Once you click on that option, an online form will openFill out each page, using the “Next Page” to continue the formOnce you have completed each page and attached your documents, click on “Submit Form.” 

The form will be sent to the school, and we will be in contact with you once we have gone through the registrations. 

Please note that the required documents are listed below: 

You will have the option to upload your required documentation using a secure web site or present your documentation at your catchment school in person.  


PART ONE 

Required documentation (does not have to be from British Columbia) 

  1. Photo identification for the parent/guardian such as: driver’s license, passport, Photo BC (British Columbia) Services Card, BCID card. 

  1. Evidence of guardianship (as shown on child’s birth certificate, or other appropriate legal documentation, such as, landed immigrant document or guardianship order). 

  1. Evidence of birth date for the student (e.g., birth certificate or passport).  

 

PART TWO:  

Evidence of residence for the parent/guardian in British Columbia 

4. Valid government issued documentation showing the address of residence with the name of ordinarily resident parent/guardian (e.g., BC Driver’s License, BC Services Card, BCID or ICBC Registration Document, etc.). 

If the above Government issued documents are not available, please provide a minimum of TWO of the following: 

• Property purchase agreement 
• Utility bill 
• Rental agreement (or letter from landlord) 
• Health documents (medical reports and letters) 
• Letter-mail with name and address of resident 
• Employment pay-slips 
• Bank statements 
• Letter from employer 
• Insurance statements or policies 
• Statement or letter from a Notary Public 
• Other documents that indicate resident’s name and address 

Other important documents to attach to the registration: 

  1. Medical documents – related to an existing health condition that would affect your child’s academic development, or relating to a health condition that is vital information for the school to be aware of. 

  1. Child’s BC Care Card
