Get the Betty Huff App!

Our Betty Huff App is up and running.  Note that teachers have just been messaged about it, so they do not have anything about their class or any information in the app.

From a school perspective, this will be our method of communicating with parents, and will have the most up-to-date information available in the event of school closures, emergencies, etc.  Newsletters will be published with links via the app as well.If you download the app, you will have automatic notifications when we send something, so you will no longer need to check the website on a continual basis.  Once I have advertised the app to parents over the course of this week, we will send our previous newsletter again through the app so parents can see it arrive as a notification.  When possible, we will schedule the "SEND" for the morning so that notification is

there, as opposed to possibly missing one when on a phone call during
the day.

Parents:
If you are a parent subscribing to the app, set up an account with whatever e-mail address you check most often.

Once in, click on the wheel in the upper right corner and find your child's
teacher's name.  Subscribe to each teacher for each of your children.

* Note that the grade that it shows with a teacher when you click on them
may not be the correct grade if your child is in a combined class.  I
am working on getting that resolved.  It appears to be the way the app
is set up.

If you are receiving this e-mail, and your child no longer attends our
school, we have discovered there is no unsubscribe button, unfortunately.  Please send an e-mail to bettyhuff@surreyschools.ca and in the e-mail, ask to have the e-mail forwarded to the principal to unsubscribe you from this list.  We will need your e-mail address that you have been receiving the e-mail on.
