Berkshire Park PAC Newsletter - May 2023
An important message from the Berkshire Park PAC:
The PAC needs YOU and your input or our school and students could lose out!
~ PAC online form regarding the PAC AGM on May 18th at 7pm. NOTE: Without parent involvement in this AGM the school will lose nearly $8000 in government funding resulting in less/no/higher cost field trips and activities such as Zumba/Dance for all students to enjoy, and no/reduced funding available for classroom activities and equipment such as outdoor equipment, technology use, garden, music, and library. The government does NOT supply all that should/could be done for a school, that is why the PAC steps up to have an Executive Team and run fundraisers. * Volunteers: We cannot have a carnival without the help of parent volunteers. We need at least 8 volunteers at any given time for helping with things such as wristbands, raffle ticket sales, concession, games, and rides. * Vendors: We still have vendor spaces available for Community Services, Small Businesses, KidPreneurs, and Garage Sale. Vendor form is available here: https://forms.office.com/r/0jbV4dea7v
* Donations: Looking for donations from businesses to assist with our Raffle Prizes, if know a company that would like to donate gift cards, services, or any type of merchandise, please email us at BerkshireParkPAC@outlook.com so we can get that set up. We will provide a donation confirmation that we have received a donation as most companies can use this as a write off. We need to have donations in to the school or received by email by May 16th to apply for our Gaming License, so the sooner the better!
