School Registration

Students who are new to the Surrey School District need to register for their neioghborhood school on-line by clicking here.

The following documents are required at the school when registering:

  • Proof of birth date for the student (birth certificate or passport);SchoolRegistration.jpg
  • Proof of guardianship (for parents or guardians as shown on child's birth certificate or other appropriate legal documentation such as landed immigrant document or guardianship order);
  • Proof of citizenship for both the parent and the student (Canadian birth certificate, citizenship card, passport, landed immigrant document, permanent resident card, enhanced driver's license or enhanced identification card);
  • Proof of residency (three pieces of identification showing the address of residence such as purchase or rental agreement, cable, hydro or gas bill, BC driver's licence of parent/legal guardian etc.).
  • The school district recognizes that personal circumstances may make it difficult for some individuals to complete the registration process. Please discuss any unique circumstances with the school principal when registering. We welcome all new students and we are pleased to assist in any way we can. Those born in British Columbia can obtain birth certificates from BC Vital Statistics.
