Board Chair Tymoschuk and Supt. Pearmain welcome you to the 2025-26 school year

The first day of school is almost here! And to welcome back our students, staff and families, Supt. Mark Pearmain and Surrey Board of Education Chair Gary Tymoschuk have shared video messages for our school communities in Surrey and White Rock.

Surrey Schools staff have been hard at work over the summer in preparation of the new school year, with the videos taking a look at new schools and additions coming this year, safety improvements, teaching with artificial intelligence and innovative approaches through hybrid learning. Through a lens looking to the future, the district continues to explore modern ways to equip students with the knowledge, communication, resilience and critical thinking skills to succeed in school and beyond.
