Meet your superintendents and know your school zone

Surrey Schools is B.C.’s largest school district, operating more than 130 kindergarten to Grade 12 schools serving Surrey, White Rock and the rural area of Barnston Island.

The district’s Superintendent’s Department supports each of these sites in delivering a wide range of education and support programs with a mandate of preparing learners of all ages to think creatively and critically, communicate skillfully and demonstrate care for self and others.

The department is led by Supt. Mark Pearmain, who is  supported by Deputy Supt. Andrew Holland, and a team of six assistant superintendents, each responsible for a specific geographic zone:

  • City Centre – Jacob Sol
  • Cloverdale/Clayton – Shauna Ross
  • Guildford – Perry Smith
  • Newton/Fleetwood – Christy Northway
  • Panorama/Sullivan – Lynda Reeve
  • South Surrey/White Rock – Neder Dhillon
