Summer Learning

Summer School for adult learners is at Invergarry Adult Education Centre at 12772 88 Avenue, Surrey, BC. Both academic and foundational courses are offered.

Academic Courses: April 2026

Foundations of Math and English levels 1-7: May 2026.

These courses will be available to all students who have graduated, are expected to graduate in June of 2027, or have a birth date before July 1, 2008. If you are a secondary school student in the Surrey School District, you can register for summer classes through Summer Learning.

Adult students who have never attended school in Canada before will need to take an assessment before registering for classes. You can find more information about that here.

Summer Learning is provided free of charge to students who normally reside in British Columbia. International students and students from other provinces and territories in Canada are charged a fee at the time of registration.  Please visit our Summer Learning page for the current fee schedule.  Fees can be paid by calling the Summer Learning Office.
