Tim Hortons & Vancouver Sun Children’s Fund support Surrey schools with Smile Cookie Campaign!
Smile! Next week marks the return of the Smile Cookie Campaign, and four Surrey Tim Horton’s locations are participating to support donations to the Vancouver Sun Children’s Fund to benefit Surrey students!
From April 27 to May 3, 2026, 100% of the proceeds from Smile Cookie sales at select locations will be donated to the Vancouver Sun Children’s Fund to support students in Surrey. The fund’s annual contributions provide funding that schools use to support students with items such as clothing, footwear, hygiene products and other basic necessities.
The four Surrey Tim Horton’s locations benefitting Surrey students are:
- 2360 King George Blvd. (inside the Esso Station)
- 16815 96th Ave. (inside the Esso Station)
- 12925 115th St.
- #1 - 1767 152nd St.
“It is a privilege to be part of the long-standing Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign alongside the Vancouver Sun Children’s Fund, a trusted partner of our district,” said Laura Lukey, Manager of the district’s Advancement Office. “Knowing that smile cookie proceeds from four local Tim Hortons locations will directly support Surrey students with basic needs makes this initiative especially meaningful.
“We are extremely appreciative of this partnership and the impact it will have on our students!”
The Vancouver Sun Children’s Fund has generously advocated for Surrey Schools for 15 years with a focus on meeting student basic needs, providing aid to dozens of schools through its Adopt-A-School program.
This year, they approved more than $421,000 in support of several schools across the district, making a significant difference in the lives of students in Surrey.
“We are incredibly grateful that they wish to continue to support us beyond those funds by making us a beneficiary of a portion of the Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie campaign in which they are participating,” said Lukey.
