If you are planning to attend post-secondary after high school, now is a good time to think ahead about which Grade 12 courses you will need for your applications, so that you can complete any Grade 11 pre-requisites for Grade 12 courses. Many Grade 11 students will take more than the minimum required courses listed above if they are planning to meet university entrance requirements.
Please remember that if you haven’t taken your Grade 10 Numeracy and Literacy Assessments, these are graduation requirements and must be completed before you finish high school. Please contact Mr Cowan our vice principal (cowan_s@surreyschools.ca) for information on when you can take these exams.
At SAIL, students are able to work at their own pace to complete their schooling on timelines that may be different than they would experience at a mainstream school. Please speak with our counsellor Mr Sturn (see below) to plan course and grade completion goals that work best for you!
Please note that it is your responsibility to make certain you are taking the proper courses to meet your graduation requirements and any requirements you may have for any studies you plan to take after high school. If you have any questions, or would like some additional guidance in making your Grade 11 course selections, please use our counsellor Mr Sturn’s online booking calendar to book an appointment:
