Summer Foundations Registrations for non-current students
If you are wanting to register for our Summer Term (Term 6) and are not a current student with Invergarry, you can come to register starting on June 1. To register, you will need to have completed an assessment at a school that offers Foundations classes or are coming from another province where you have taken Foundation courses before. Please ensure that you are bringing in proper documentation that clearly shows you have completed Foundation classes in Canada before so that we can make sure we are placing you in the appropriate class if one is available. If you do not have an assessment or have done Foundation courses in Canada, you are not eligible to register at this time.
Assessments:
Due to the immense increase in the need for both English and Math assessments we have decided to open up more spots for assessments. These spots will be chosen by a lottery system where you will submit your name and we will randomly choose students for English assessments and Math assessments.
The dates of the assessments will be from August 25-Sept 10. Please remember that the assessment will take up to 3 hours (or less) and you must present all identification needed for applying at the time of your assessment. The lottery application will close on June 18th at noon.
You will be notified by email so please ensure that you are checking your "junk" folder in case it goes there. You must also respond to the email to accept your assessment spot by the due date given in the email, or it will be given to someone else.
This application will close on June 18th at noon.
To apply, please follow the QR code below or go here.
Students who have previously attended a BC Secondary school and are registering to upgrade or add additional courses, please follow registration process for Returning Students below.
Please note all classes are in person instruction (face to face). Invergarry does not offer online learning.
