Availability & How to Book
- Space is made available to community users when not required for K-12 instructional time including extracurricular activities.
- Availability of space may be viewed through our online booking system along with photos of the facility where available.

- To submit a request to rent space, please create an account through our online booking system and submit your application for space a minimum of 15 business days prior to your requested start date. If you need an answer sooner for marketing purposes ensure that is factored in when submitting your request. Various coordination is required with each event and we are unable to provide updates on application status' once submitted.
- Rental licenses are made available to user groups for a maximum period of one school year from September to June (excluding winter/spring/summer breaks and statutory holidays).
- Separate requests must be submitted for bookings over school closures including weekends additional fees for security, heating/ventilation, and custodial services may apply.
- Once your application is submitted, a member of the Facility Rentals Dept. will be in touch to gather any additional documents that may be required (Insurance, Non-Profit Certificates if applicable, Payment). As each request is unique in nature, we are unable to provide timelines on when applications will be approved, but we will be in touch as soon as there is any updates we can provide
Fields
The Surrey School District makes available a selection of Irrigated, Non-Irrigated and All-Weather Gravel Fields available for community users to rent. Not all elementary fields are available for rental.

A limited selection of meeting spaces at the District Education Centre (DEC) and Resource and Education Centre (REC) may periodically be available for community use, typically during evenings and weekends.
Priority access to space within the DEC/REC buildings is provided to staff and departments located in DEC/REC. Allocation of meeting space is subject to priority order and bookings may be bumped at any time if a priority user requires access to meeting space.
We offer a variety of spaces available for motion picture productions. Contact rentals@surreyschools.ca with more information about your production including the dates/times and requested sites, and a general concept of the project.
