MyEducation BC (MyEdBC) is a secure student information system used in districts across the province of BC. Security is guided by the rules and regulations of the School Act and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA). MyEducationBC ("MyEdBC")
Can students and parents log on to MyEdBC?
Secondary schools (students in grades 8–12) provide student and parent accounts to MyEdBC. Elementary schools do not.
How do I know what my login ID is for MyEdBC?
Your school can help you with this. For students, the login ID is usually the student's Student Number.
Are there some tips when logging on for the first time to MyEdBC?
Yes. When logging on for the first time, or when resetting your password, do not use a cell phone, iPad, or tablet, instead use a laptop or desktop computer. Afterwards, you can use a cell phone or tablet to access MyEdBC.
How can I reset my password for MyEdBC?
If you forget your MyEdBC Portal Password, you can click the 'I forgot my password' link on the login screen and an email will be sent to you with a new temporary password.
Password resets are sent to the email address the school has on record. How do I know which email address is on record?
You can contact your school directly to determine which email address your password reset is being sent to

How can I get an up-to-date copy of my secondary (high school) transcript?
Transcripts are provided directly by the Ministry of Education. You can access their self-serve transcript service
I have received an updated mark from my teacher but I don't see that mark updated in the Ministry of Education's Transcript Service. What can I do?
Contact your school with the course and the expected change and they can investigate
