Parent/Teacher Interviews

 

​Parent Teacher Interviews are one way for parents to participate in their child’s education. An important opportunity to find out about your child’s progress, interviews are not just for parents of students who are struggling. Parents are encouraged to come prepared with questions and concerns.

On Thursday, November 25^th, we will be holding our Semester 1 Parent Teacher Conferences for our Enver Creek Community. 

These conferences will be held virtually in 10 minute intervals during two sessions:

• 2:10pm – 4:00pm 
• 5:00pm – 6:30pm. 

Appointments are open for booking through our Parent Teacher Conference Booking System until November 24^th at 9:00pm. The link will also be available on the main page of the school website.  Appointments will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Once you click the link above, you will have the opportunity to book an appointment for each of your child's teachers. A separate appointment will be necessary for each child and each of their teachers. 

Parents have the option of requesting either a:

• Phone call - which will come through as either the school number 604-543-8149, or an unknown blocked number at the designated time by the teacher

or

• Video call – which will come through your child's Microsoft TEAMS account by the teacher. We will not be using ZOOM, SKYPE or other platforms at this time

Preference would be for you to choose a video call so that you and the teacher can see each other and it is more interactive provided you have a device capable of accessing Microsoft TEAMS.

If you are unable to book an available time, but would still like to meet with a particular teacher, you may reach out to them directly through their email (available on MYEDBC, the Enver Creek 2 Go App, or the school website) or fill out this Alternative Appointment Form.  Please indicate your child's  name, student number and the Teacher(s), Counselor(s) or Career Facilitator you would like to get in contact with, and we will pass it on to the appropriate people.

At this time, the following teachers will have limited availablity on the 25^th and alternative appointments may be arranged:

• Mr. Porpaczy (Not Available)
• Mr. Weeratunge (only available for the second session) 
• Mrs. McRae (only available for the second session)
• Mrs. Acheson (only available for the first session)
