Notice Posted June 19, 2021: 

We are currently anticipating a full resumption of interior and exterior community rentals starting September 13, 2021 (childcare rentals will begin September 7, 2021). 

The Facility Rentals department is currently processing all rental requets recieved to date for 2021-2022, and will complete review of all requets before the end of August. New rental requests recieved from this point forward for Fall/Winter/Spring 2021-2022 will be processed on a first come, first serve basis. 

A Facility Rentals representative will be in touch with all those who submitted a request and have it currently "pending" before the first date of the rental/

Should the Covid-19 situation in our community change, whereby rentals are unable to proceed at the direction of government and health authorities, rentals will be limited and/or cancelled as necessary.

Facility Rentals is located at the District Education Centre. We coordinate the bookings and usage of district facilities and grounds when they are being used outside of instructional time for internal and external purposes 

Examples of bookings that we normally look after include (but are not limited to): weekly evening rentals, weekend bookings, after school programs, licensed childcares, and commercial filming/photography. With the exception of the Bell Performing Arts Theatre, all rental requests for school district facilities and grounds are handled by the Facility Rentals Department.


Our renters consist of various types of groups ranging from community members to large organizations.


If you are interested in submitting a rental request, please note that applications may be submitted through our online booking portal – follow the link here to create an account and submit your applications for space a minimum of 15 business days prior to your requested start date.

Our hours of operation are from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
