Summer Recreation Programs
Summer Recreation Programs

The summer vacation provides a long break from the regular school routine. For students who thrive on or sometimes need that routine, Safe Schools offers the Summer Recreation programs to keep students active, fit and engaged.

Safe Schools gives hundreds of students opportunities they would not normally be able to access thanks to a generous donation from Variety – The Children’s Charity, and the support of Surrey RCMP and the City of Surrey. These opportunities include the Gulf Island TV and Film Camp, Camp Potlatch, Camp Elphinstone and King George International School.

The program supports fitness activities, including skating and basketball, and provides nutrition and transportation.
