​Located on Canada's scenic west coast, the Surrey School district is just 40 minutes southeast of Vancouver and 2 hours north of Seattle, Washington in the United States. One District, Two Cities

Your child may choose to reside in either of two cities that make up the Surrey School district: Surrey, one of Canada's fastest growing cities, and the beautiful ocean-side community of White Rock.

Surrey, "The City of Parks" has 6 distinct town centers offering students a choice of studying in peaceful rural surroundings or safe suburban neighborhoods. The City of White Rock is tranquil community clustered around a spectacular sandy beach that features a promenade walk and several diverse restaurants and shops

Surrey and White Rock are both friendly and family oriented-communities - the ideal environment for an international student. Within minutes, rapid public transit links Surrey to downtown Vancouver allowing students to enjoy the benefits of nearby urban centers.

Our proximity to mountains, oceans and lakes makes skiing, snowboarding, sailing, swimming and fishing popular activities for our students. With the warmest climate in Canada, our students also enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities like golf, tennis, hiking and cycling year round.

International students can also take advantage of indoor activities and events hosted in world class sports facilities. They can enjoy art, music, drama and dance in local performing arts venues. Surrey and White Rock offer more than 50 shopping centers including large indoor malls, plazas, and smaller commercial outlets.
