Aviation Ground School
Are you interested in beginning the coursework to obtain your private pilot's licence?
The Aviation Ground School Program is delivered in partnership with the Canadian Flight Centre. Ground school is a series of classes that teach you about many areas of aviation, including meteorology, aerodynamics, and the specific laws that pertain to pilots. As part of this course, you obtain an aviation radio licence, and prepare for the PPL written exam.
Sudents must be in Grade 11 or 12 to participate. The course work will take place at the Boundary Bay location, but there will be opportunities for off-site field trips.
Participants receive credit for an Independent Directed Study Work Experience course.
Please see the program brochure for additional information.
