Health & Safety
Health & Safety

Our priority during this unique time in B.C. and across the globe is the health and safety of our students, staff and community.

We work closely with local health authorities, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, and take seriously any direction provided by the Provincial Health Officer as we work to stop the spread of COVID-19.

As we work toward the gradual re-opening of our schools to face-to-face instruction, we do so following the province's health and safety protocols for schools.

  • Regularly wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with your elbow or use a tissue
  • Stay home and reduce your physical contact with others.

Physical distancing means staying two meters away from others and limiting the number of people you come into close contact with.

The Province has a dedicated phone service to provide non-medical information about COVID-19. This includes the latest information on travel recommendations and social distancing, as well as access to support and resources from the provincial and federal governments.
