It’s the little things in life that add up: the books we read, the meals we eat, the laughter on the playground at recess and lunch, and yet these are the moments that shape a life. Our donors know that every moment matters because the little moments are what fuel the heart. Thanks to visionary donors, the Wubs Family Foundation, our Bright Futures Endowment Fund secures a future where all students have their basic needs met and are able to learn, grow, and dream big. A gift to Surrey Schools is a gift that gives on because students who know they are cared for will carry that knowledge forward and transform the world.

HOW THE ENDOWMENT WORKS

The Bright Futures Endowment Fund ensures students have the basics they need to focus on learning, playing, and growing while also supporting programs and equipment at schools that bring classroom lessons to life. Your donation will be added to the protected capital of the Endowment and invested in responsible investment vehicles. The annual income drawn from the fund supports the needs of students and schools in perpetuity.

For vulnerable students, it means items such as food, clothing, school supplies and transportation will continue to be accessible to them.

For schools, it will continue to provide valuable field trips, technology and afterschool programming.

A gift of $10,000 means schools will have approximately $500 each year, and every future year, to spend on emergent needs for generations to come.
