Selected from 1,250 national nominees, Arthur Chen, North Surrey Secondary; Rika Sugimoto Dimitrova, Semiahmoo Secondary; Brendan Cottrell, Elgin Park Secondary and Wylee Fitz-Gerald, Frank Hurt Secondary have received the prestigious 2015 Schulich Leader Scholarships valued at $80,000 and $60,000.
The scholarships are awarded to study science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) at one of 21 top Canadian universities.
Earlier this year, Johnston Heights Secondary grad Anthony Hope was one of 30 winners out of 3,800 applicants to receive the $100,000 Loran Scholarship.
