Semiahmoo Secondary Totems logged their title after a nail-biter at the B.C. high school boys volleyball AAA championships at Langley Events Centre. Facing top-seed Mount Baker Wild from Cranbrook, the senior boys Semi squad (seeded ninth) won the first two sets of the final, setting them on what looked like a path to victory. But the Wild came back with two wins of their own, forcing a deciding fifth game.
In the end, the Totems pulled ahead, winning the gold-medal game 15-12.
