We are pleased to confirm that StrongStart Centres are open for virtual, outdoor or face to face sessions at reduced capacity and on a sign-up basis.  StrongStart sessions will be reduced to 1.5 hours and at least one session per week will be provided virtually.   Families will be required to schedule their StrongStart sessions in advance and there will be no drop in sessions.  Please contact the StrongStart facilitator at your site by email to schedule a time to attend.   Facilitator's email addresses are listed in the StrongStart Locations 2020-2021 form below.  We are excited to welcome families back through our doors and look forward to seeing you soon!

StrongStart is a free program for parents/caregivers and their children aged birth to five years old.  Children and families participate in learning experiences that are designed to support early learning development – language, physical, cognitive, social and emotional.

Parents and caregivers discover new ways to support children's learning at home while making valuable connections with others in the community. Those attending can expect to participate in organized sessions like story-time and play activities. There are currently StrongStarts at 24 schools throughout the district.
